Nissan Pathfinder Performance Review

Nissan has re-engineered its Pathfinder lineup and found a great balance between power and fuel efficiency. While it's ranked as one of the top midsize SUVs for value, the Pathfinder delivers power in the standard model easily. You get 284 horsepower from a 3.5-liter V6 engine in the base Pathfinder. However, you can upgrade to get more power with some of the higher trims.

While front-wheel drive is standard, you can also choose an all-wheel drive variable transmission that lets you choose the configuration on the fly. This is helpful for drivers who experience a variety of different driving scenarios from weather to long, winding curved roads. In addition, you get a lot of new driver assistance features with the latest Pathfinder, which makes it easier to take turns and monitor blind spots.
